Turin, July 2018.
An excursion of students coming from all Europe during the International Summer School organized by Department of Life Sciences and Systems Biology – University of Turin, Italy, to see an industrial site where there is a groundwater contamination.
It’s important that students be aware of innovative reclamation systems to degrade organic substances in water.
During the visit, BSA Ambiente technicians explained the BSA system which consists in the use of microorganisms to degrade organic substances in water and the way to put these bacteria in contact with the contaminated matrix.
